Founded in 2015 in Birmingham, Alabama. Built to solve a problem — commercial buildings bleeding money on outdated electrical systems with no plan to fix it. The economics were obvious to anyone who ran property: rising utility costs, constant maintenance calls, fixtures replaced on emergency budgets instead of planned capital.
In 2020, the company relaunched under new operational leadership. Matt Petro — previously an executive at a national retail real-estate firm — brought a property owner’s view of what a contractor actually owes the building: measured outcomes, not promises. Every part of the business was re-anchored around that standard.
What emerged treats buildings as electrical systems, not as line items. It measures before it recommends. It installs with long-run thinking instead of next-quarter thinking. And it maintains what it builds — so the savings still work five and ten years in.
In 2026, LED Solutions became Energie Solutions — reflecting what the company actually does now: full electrical contractor work, lighting, controls, and preventive maintenance, all under one contract.

Regional offices opened in Nashville, Los Angeles, and West Palm Beach to anchor field operations nationwide.
